All-New Nissan Latio diluncurkan di Jepang, Jumat (5/10). Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., sebagai prinsipal Nissan, pun langsung membuka keran penjualan untuk model sedan kompak globalnya itu.

Harga banderol yang ditetapkan adalah mulai 1.388.100 yen (setara Rp. 170 juta) hingga 1.698.900 yen (setara Rp. 208 juta). Sebelumnya Latio sudah dipasarkan di China, Amerika Serikat dan Thailand. Sementara di Indonesia, Latio hadir dengan model hatchback dan untuk sedan digunakan sebagai taksi (Gamya).

Baik desain dan mesin Latio baru diganti dengan yang berukuran lebih kecil. Jika sebelumnya menggunakan mesin 1.6L, kini diganti dengan 1.2L, HR12DE. Mesin tersebut sama halnya dengan yang dipakai pada March.

Di sektor pembakaran dipasang sistem Idling Stop (untuk semua tipe). Alhasil, konsumsi bahan bakar sedan ini diklaim bisa mencapai 22,6 kpl, sesuai dengan standar tes Jepang (JC08).

Faktor lain yang membuat sedan ini makin irit, bobotnya lebih ringan 70 kg dari versi sebelumnya. Untuk memindahkan tenaga, digunakan CVT khas Nissan yang disebut XTronic.

Untuk desain wajah, lampu depan masih halogen dan dilengkapi dengan multi-reflektor berukuran lebih kecil. Kendati demikian, permukaan lampu lebih besar dibandingkan versi sebelumnya. Karena itu pula, cahaya yang dipancarkan lebih terang.

Agar nilai aerodinamikanya makin maksimal, bemper dan pilar depan, kedua spion luar dan kolong dirancang ulang.

Fitur tambahan lain adalah kaca spion yang bisa dilipat dari ruang pengemudi, layar monitor untuk memantau kondisi belakang mobil saat parkir (hanya untuk varian yang dilengkapi dengan navigasi), lampu rem di bawah kaca belakang dan Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) yang juga berfungsi sebagai kontrol traksi (TCS) untuk varian G.

Target penjualan yang ditetapkan Nissan untuk model ini adalah 1.200 unit per bulan.

Di India, Honda merilis motor termurah berkapasitas mesin 110 cc yang dinamakan Dream Yuga. Sambil mengenakan T-shirt Honda, aktor Bollywood Akshay Kumar meluncurkan motor ini kepada publik India.

Dia menuturkan keuntungan motor sport tersebut di jalanan India yang dipenuhi oleh mobil. Di India motor sport lebih digemari dari motor jenis lainnya.

"India akan menjadi pasar paling penting dan kami akan tetap fokus untuk 10 tahun ke depan," ujar Direktur Pemasaran Honda India Yadvinder Singh Guleria dalam acara peluncuran di New Delhi dilansir Reuters, Selasa (15/5/2012)

Dream Yuga menjadi motor Honda paling murah di dunia, dengan harga 44.642 rupee atau sekitar Rp 7,6 juta. Harga paling mahal mencapai Rp 8,2 juta. Motor ini seperti dilansir Zigwheels memiliki efisiensi bahan bakar irit mencapai 72 km per liter.

Persaingan di segmen Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) makin ketat dari hari ke hari. Kini giliran KIA yang mengumumkan akan segera melahirkan kasta tertinggi dari Sportage yang mereka namakan KIA Sportage Platinum.

Ketatnya persaingan pasar SUV memang makin mengemuka di tahun ini. Tercatat tampang baru dari berbagai mobil seperti Lexus RX450 dan RX270, Mazda CX-5, Toyota Fortuner, Audi Q3, Mitsubishi ASX, BMW X3 dan Chevrolet Captiva sudah diluncurkan tahun ini. Sementara itu, serta Honda CR-V sudah dipastikan datang di akhir tahun.

KIA pun tidak mau kalah dengan melahirkan kasta Sportage yang paling tinggi. Direktur Marketing PT KIA Mobil Indonesia Hartanto Sukmono mengatakan kalau mobil ini nanti akan menjadi salah satu pilihan yang menarik bagi para pecinta SUV di Indonesia.

"Sebelum IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show-akhir September) kita luncurkan. Habis lebaran," ungkapnya.

Lebih lanjut Hartanto membeberkan segudang fitur unggulan dari Sportage Platinum ini yang atapnya sudah dipasangi sun roof dan panoramic roof. "Sun roor untuk penumpang depan, sementara panoramic roof untuk penumpang belakang," jelasnya.

Selain itu, mobil ini menurut Hartanto juga sudah memiliki berbagai fitur standar seperti cruise control, rear view camera hingga hill descent control.

"Kita ingin ikut meramaikan. Kan semua merek banyak yang keluar," lugasnya.

Belum jelas mesin apa yang akan disematkan KIA di mobil ini. Hanya saja, untuk KIA Sportage yang ada sekarang, sebuah mesin Dual CVVT berkapasitas 1.998 cc tampak ada di balik kap mesinnya.

Mesin itu mampu melahirkan tenaga hingga 166 PS di putaran rpm 6.200 dan torsi hingga 20.1 kgm di 4.600 rpm yang tersalurkan melalui transmisi 6-speed.

Untuk urusan harga, KIA Sportage saat ini dilepas dengan harga sekitar Rp 305 jutaan. "Kalau untuk yang Sportage Platinum nanti saja," elaknya.

Legenda abadi motor Honda, Super Cub 110 akan segera lahir kembali dengan wajah terbaru di Jepang. Dengan motor ini, Honda ingin menyuguhkan sebuah motor yang bisa digunakan dalam berbagai situasi mulai dari bisnis hingga jalan-jalan tapi dengan harga terjangkau.

Dari desain, Honda Super Cub 110 tampil ala motor retro dengan disokong mesin satu silinder berpendingin udara yang berkapasitas 110 cc yang sudah menggunakan sistem injeksi PGM-FI.

Honda mengatakan bahwa mesin ini mampu mengoptimalkan rasio gigi dan karakteristik torsi dengan memberi penekanan pada rentang rpm rendah dan menengah sehingga dapat dengan mudah melalui segala medan jalan termasuk jalan menanjak.

Desainnya didasarkan pada keaslian gaya tradisional dari Super Cub dengan kesederhanaan. Lampu depan maupun belakang tampak mengkotak yang sekilas akan mengingatkan kita pada motor lawas Honda, Astrea.

Motor ini akan diproduksi di pabrik Honda di China untuk membuat harganya makin terjangkau karena motor yang akan diluncurkan di Jepang pada 16 Maret mendatang dengan banderol harga 228.900 yen atau sekitar Rp 25,9 jutaan atau lebih rendah 21 ribu yen atau sekitar Rp 2,3 jutaan.

Setelah meluncurkan All New Civic akhir bulan lalu, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) mengadakan sesi test drive All New Civic dengan rute Jakarta-Sentul-Jakarta, pulang pergi.

10 Mobil All New Civic yang terbagi dari mesin 1.800 cc dan 2.000 cc meluncur dari Hotel Sultan Senayan menuju Sentul International Convention Centre (SICC), Jawa Barat. detikOto sendiri kebagian mengendarai All New Civic 2.000 cc transmisi otomatis.

Sesi test drive kali ini lebih dipusatkan pada fitur terbaru yang tersemat yakni ECON Mode.

Adapun fungsinya untuk mereduksi konsumsi bahan bakar minyak (BBM).

Adanya fitur tersebut menandakan PT HPM semakin serius menanggapi konsumsi minyak bumi di Indonesia yang kian berlebihan, karenanya fitur yang juga digunakan pada Honda Odyseey itu tersemat di All New Civic.

All New Civic kini dilengkapi dengan smart key system yang memudahkan pengendara ketika membuka pintu.

Dengan fitur tersebut pengendara cukup simpan kunci di dalam kantung baju atau celana. Fitur yang memudahkan pengendara lainnya adalah one push ignition system (hanya untuk Civic 2.000 cc).

Caranya cukup pijak pedal gas lalu tekan tombol di balik kemudi mesin pun akan menyala.

Seluruh awak media mulai menyalakan fitur ECON Mode dengan menekan tombol di sebalah kanan dashboard. Clik, tanda bunga pun menyala. Kabin penumpang All New Civic 2.000 cc tampak elegan dengan beberapa perubahan yang lumayan merata.

Nah, untuk diketahui fitur ECON mode adalah fitur pintar yang mengedukai pengendara agar bijak menekan pedal gas.

Bisa diketahui ketika lampu biru menyala di speedometer menandakan konsumsi BBM terlalu berlebihan. Yang tepat adalah lampu hijau pada speedometer. Itu baru tepat.

Cara mengantisipasi fitur ini sebenarnya cukup ringkas. Hanya memperhatikan sinyal yang tersedia. Konsep tersebut sesuai dengan tema yang diberikan Honda yakni efisiensi bahan bakar minyak. Dari hotel Sultan ke SICC, konsumsi BBM-nya 12:1.

Di bawah terik matahari, rombongan All New Civic terus melaju menuju Sentul, Jawa Barat. Kabin sedan 5 penumpang tersebut cukup senyap. Kondisi itu menambah kenikmatan berkendara dengan All New Civic.

Tak terasa rombongan sampai di SICC. Tak lama, 10 All New Civic bertolak ke Senayan, Jakarta.

Perjalanan pulang tidak diharuskan memanfaatkan ECON Mode. Pedal gas pun dibejek, alhasil mesin 2.000 cc lumayan responsif.

All New Civic bertenaga 155 Ps pada 6.500 RPM dan torsi maksimal 19,4 kg.m pada 4.300 RPM. Kurang puas, tuas perseneling digeser ke bawah S (5 percepatan manual). Nah, tenaga yang disalurkan ke roda depan semakin terasa. Mesin langsung merespon keinginan detikOto, dan semakin terasa ketika bermain dengan fitur paddle shifter.

Sedan yang memiliki PxLxT (4.5540x1.755x1.435) itu sangat mantap ketika diajak zig-zag. Mobil masih terasa nyaman meski digeber hingga 150 km/jam. Kombinasi pelek 16 inci sepertinya sangat pas. All New Civic ditopang dengan sistem keamanan EPS, VSA, EBD, dan ABS serta EBD dan BA. Sedangkan komponen keselamatan lainnya yakni rangka G-Con + Ace, Srs airbag, neck-shock mitigation dan pedestrian protection bodi structure yang mengurangi cedera untuk pejalan kaki.

Untuk pasar mobil Indonesia, All New Civic disediakan 5 pilihan warna yaitu polished metal metallic, alabaster silver metallic, crystal balck pearl, briliant white pearl dan warna baru carnelian red pearl.

All New Civic 1.800 cc transmisi manual dihargai Rp 341 juta, All New Civic transmisi otomatis Rp 345 juta, dan All New Civic 2.000 transmisi otomatis dibanderol Rp 460 juta.

Orang bilang percuma punya Porsche atau Ferrari di Jakarta, tidak bisa dipakai ngebut. Tetapi kalau sekedar menumpang kedua mobil sport itu sih sepertinya sah-sah saja.

Bagi Anda yang selama ini ingin naik taksi mobil sport, keinginan Anda terpenuhi. Kini ada dua unit mobil sport yakni Porsche dan Ferrari yang menjadi armada taksi di Jakarta.

Lisbon - Sebuah merek mobil jadi armada taksi? Itu sih biasa, tetapi untuk menjadi mobil polisi itu agak luar biasa, karena tentunya mobil harus punya spek yang bisa 'menangkap' penjahat.

Warna Nissan LEAF, kini bertambah lagi. Setelah memiliki embel warna 'hijau' karena ramah lingkungan, LEAF kini memiliki warna biru dan putih karena menjadi mobil polisi Portugal.

Hampir semua pabrikan motor yang berpartisipasi di ajang ini memperlihatkan motor-motor modifikasi yang dikreasikan dari produk yang mereka produksi.

Beragam gaya modifikasi mulai dari sport, futuristik hingga ekstrem bisa dilihat di sana. Honda, TVS, Yamaha dan Kawasaki adalah yang bertarung di dalamnya.

Sementara Suzuki, Bajaj dan Minerva yang ikut serta di ajang ini tidak menampilkan modifikasi motornya.

eka-teki kelahiran wajah baru dari motor sport injeksi andalan Yamaha, V-Ixion nampaknya menemui titik terang. Yamaha mengakui sedang mempersiapkannya untuk lahir di akhir tahun nanti.

Pembicaraan mengenai kelahiran Yamaha V-Ixion terbaru memang terus menghangat sejak beberapa bulan lalu. Berbagai foto pengetesan motor ini sudah bertebaran.

Namun, Yamaha terus tutup mulut mengenai kabar kelahirannya atau pun waktu peluncuran produk andalannya tersebut hingga hari ini Executive vice President PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing Dyonisius Beti mengakuinya.

"Kuartal 4," akunya ketika ditanya kapan wajah baru V-Ixion mewarnai pasar motor Indonesia.

Kabar yang telah banyak beredar mengatakan kalau wajah baru V-Ixion ini akan dianugerahi tampang yang lebih sporty dengan berbagai perbaika disana-sini.

Selain itu, aplikasi disc brake di roda belakang kemungkinan juga akan terwujud. Transmisi pun santer dikabarkan akan ditambah dari 5 menjadi 6.

Benarkah itu semua? Kita tunggu saja.

Honda tak mau diam melihat pesaingnya merilis SUV baru. Produsen mobil asal Jepang itu akan merilis All New CR-V pada akhir 2012.

"CR-V akhir tahun," ujar Marketing and After Sales Service Director PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) Jonfis Fandy di sela-sela test drive All New Civic di Jakarta, Kamis (12/7/2012).

Menurutnya, All New CR-V akan segera merebak di pasar mobil Indonesia. Pasalnya para pecinta Honda telah lama menanti SUV medium tersebut.

"Kan konsumen loyal honda sudah tunggu CR-V. Banyak konsumen yang mau up-grade," yakinnya.

Ia pun menjelaskan, jika nantinya CR-V untuk Thailand dan Indonesia akan terdapat perbedaan. Namun perbedaan tersebut dipastikan tidak akan terlalu banyak, hanya dari segi fitur dan penyesuaian bahan bakar minyak (BBM).

"CR-V Indonesia dan Thailand, beda. Saya belum jelas, nanti akan kita umumkan," paparnya.

Jonfis menambahkan, saat ini PT HMP tengah sibuk menghabiskan stok CR-V lawas. Total keseluruhan CR-V lawas sebanyak 3.600 unit.

"Stok CR-V (lawas) sekarang total sisanya 3.600-an. Ini tidak akan menyurutkan niat pembeli konsumen CR-V lama meski All New CR-V akan keluar. Tidak akan menurunkan minat CR-V lawas. Enggak takutlah," tutup Jonfis.

Sebelumnya di bulan April lalu, Honda sudah merilis facelift Honda CR-V. Wajah baru Honda CR-V ini cukup diminati. Total selama semester pertama 2012, CR-V sudah terjual sebanyak 5.508 unit.

Sayang di segmen SUV, CR-V mesti mengakui Fortuner dan Pajero Sport dari aspek penjualannya.

Produsen mobil Jepang, Nissan, akan membuat kejutan di pekan depan dengan meluncurkan mobil baru yang masih belum jelas wujudunya. Namun kemungkinan besar mobil itu adalah pesaing Jazz, Nissan Invitation.

Di situs resmi Nissan, seremoni peluncuran akan dilangsungkan pada 16 Juli 2012, di Yokohama. Suasana peluncuran mobil akan berada di kawasan laut. Wah!

Media Jepang berspekulasi kalau mobil itu adalah Nissan Invitation. Mobil hatchback yang dikenalkan Nissan di Geneva Motor Show awal 2012 lalu.

Sebelumnya, Nissan sudah mengumumkan akan memproduksi mobil ini di Inggris pada 2014 nanti.

Nissan Invitation adalah sebuah hatchback yang mengadopsi teknologi Around View Monitor yang memungkinkan pengendara memiliki pandangan yang lebar seperti burung (bird's-eye view), jadi memudahkan kita saat parkir atau memantau kendaraan di sekitar.

Dapur pacunya diprediksi akan dimotori oleh mesin 1.500 cc yang ramah lingkungan. Gas buang Nissan Invitation berada di 100 g/km, hasil tersebut sama dengan mesin 1.200 cc yang tersemat pada Nissan March.

Dan jika berani masuk pula ke pasar hatchback Indonesia, mobil tersebut akan bertemu para pesaingnya yakni Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris, Ford Fiesta serta Mazda2. Di Inggris mobil ini kemungkinan akan dihargai dengan banderol antara 11.000-16.000 pounds atau sekitar Rp 158 jutaan sampai Rp 230 jutaan.

Kawasaki menggebrak pasar motor Indonesia. Tidak tanggung-tanggung 2 varian motor sport bermesin 650 cc langsung mereka luncurkan dan Bali adalah wilayah yang paling banyak peminatnya.

Motor yang diluncurkan Kawasaki adalah ER6-R yang menganut konsep naked bike dan Ninja 650 R yang memiliki tampilan full fairing. Masing-masing dibanderol dengan harga Rp 99 juta dan Rp 104 juta.



"Target awal kami mencapai 100-200 unit perbulan. Dan Bali sedikit menggila, kemarin sudah ada pemesanan dan siap menunggu (Inden) sebanyak 10 unit," ujar Sales Promotion KDD Departement Marketing & Sales Division PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI), Reiner M. Sitourus, di sela peluncuran di Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, Jumat (25/11/2011).

"Kota-kota besar lainnya pun banyak peminatnya, tapi yang paling gila itu Bali. Karena disana banyak sekali peminatnya, salah satunya ialah para bule disana,"ujarnya.

Namun begitu, Reiner mengakui kalau ada sedikit perbedaan antara kedua produk yang dijual di Indonesia ini dengan produk yang berada di luar negeri salah satunya adalah aplikasi ABS atau anti-lock braking system.

"Ada yang berbeda misalnya saja pada sistem pengereman ABS (di luar negeri), yang ini non ABS. Ini hanya faktor pilihan saja, dan menurut saya sama saja malah bisa menambah harga," lugas Reiner.



Sementara itu Director of Marketing PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia Mitsuhiko Okada di tempat yang sama menjelaskan kalau peluncuran dua varian Premium Bike ini dilakukan karena Kawasaki selalu ingin menghadirkan terobosan terbaru bagi industri otomotif roda dua dan memenuhi kepuasan para pecinta motorsport di Indonesia.

“Tak hanya dimensi dan kapasitas mesin yang besar, semua komponen dari kedua motor ini mewakili sosok premium bike sejati bagi mereka yang mengidam-idamkan sebuah motor premium bike Jepang,” kata pria yang akrab disapa Okada San ini.

Argumen Okada tersebut nampaknya memang masuk akal. Sebab mesin yang digendong keduanya adalah mesin berkapasitas 649 cc dan berkonfigurasi paralel twin ini (dua silinder) yang mengusung sistem noken as DOHC (double over head camshaft) dan 8 buah katup per silinder.

“Peningkatan kinerja mesin yang lebih besar, berbasis body yang lebih ramping dan menggunakan jok baru yang nyaman membuat kedua motor ini lebih bergaya dan selalu Fun To Ride,” kata Okada San.

Sedangkan Marketing & Advertising Dept Head KMI Freddyanto Basuki mengatakan bahwa meskipun kedua motor ini adalah moge yang sarat akan kekuatan, baik ER6n maupun Ninja 650 masih nyaman digunakan untuk aktivitas sehari-hari.

"Meski berkapasitas mesin besar, ER6n dan Ninja 650 masih nyaman digunakan untuk aktivitas sehari-hari karena menawarkan performa maksimal yang memiliki tenaga lembut di putaran bawah dan menengah, tetapi performa dahsyat di putaran atas,” pungkasnya.

Catatan tulisan ini lebih ditujukan untuk staging dan imaging dalam konteks sehari-hari dan bukan dalam konteks untuk kontes dan lain-lain.

Akustik.
